No — the M-8025NB uses a steel toecap and steel midsole, so they will set off metal detectors. If you need a metal-free boot, look at the Site Lite S1P (composite toe, no midsole) or the Foreman S3 WR (composite throughout).
Most wearers report minimal break-in. The memory-foam footbed adapts to your foot within the first shift. If they’re not right after 60 days of unworn trials, send them back — no restocking fee.
