The supplier builds this gauntlet to EN 388 for mechanical risks and EN 407 for thermal risks. We quote nothing beyond those two standards.

The supplier states the gauntlet is built to EN 388 and EN 407. CE and UKCA certification is still being confirmed for the UK market, so we are not claiming it.
That one is split leather throughout. This one pairs a grey grain leather palm with a black suede back and extension, so you get more feel in the hand.
No. Grain leather and suede should not go in a machine, as washing stiffens the leather. Brush off dry dirt and air dry away from direct heat.
