Colin Flowers is our Head of Safety, and he is the reason the range looks the way it does. He is an Associate of the Chartered Quality Institute and a health and safety trainer, so he comes at a boot the way an auditor would: what standard is it built to, what does the certificate actually say, and does it hold up on the job it is being sold for.
Colin works out of Devon and deals with the suppliers himself. If a product cannot answer those three questions, it does not go in the catalogue.
Everything is sourced under a documented due diligence policy. We check the standard, the certification behind it and the supplier who makes it before a product goes near the site. Each listing then names the standard, the rating and the specification, so you can match the kit to your risk assessment instead of guessing from a product name.
