This policy explains how Colin’s Total Safety Limited delivers orders, and what to do if you change your mind or an item arrives damaged or faulty.

1. Delivery

  • Standard UK delivery: 5 to 7 working days, currently reflecting longer stock replenishment times than usual.
  • Free UK delivery on orders over £100. Orders under this value are charged delivery at the rate shown at checkout.
  • We use a range of courier partners depending on the item and destination, so the specific carrier for your order will be confirmed at dispatch or in your shipping confirmation.
  • Delivery to the Scottish Highlands and Islands, and Northern Ireland typically takes up to 2 additional working days on top of the standard UK timescale above.
  • Trade accounts are available for businesses ordering regularly or in volume, offering 30-day payment terms. To apply, you’ll need to complete a business account application, including two trade references.

2. Changing your mind (14-day cancellation right)

If you’re a consumer buying online, you have a legal right to cancel your order for any reason within 14 days of receiving it, under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. To cancel, contact us within 14 days of delivery, and then return the item to us within 14 days of telling us you want to cancel.

Return postage is at your own cost. Please send the item back to: Colin’s Total Safety Limited, Unit 20 Apex Court, Woodlands, Bradley Stoke, Bristol, BS32 4JT.

This right does not apply to items made to your specification, or, once opened, to items which are not suitable for return for hygiene reasons.

3. Damaged or faulty items

If an item arrives damaged or develops a fault, let us know within 28 days of delivery. We don’t need the item posted back to us, instead, we ask for:

  • Proof of purchase, such as your order receipt or PayPal transaction reference.
  • A photograph of the damaged or faulty item.
  • A short description of the fault.

If we’re satisfied from the photograph and description that the item is damaged or faulty, we’ll offer you a replacement or a full refund, whichever you’d prefer, without needing the item returned.

4. If you paid by PayPal

Many customers choose to raise a damaged, faulty, or not-as-described issue directly with PayPal through their Resolution Centre rather than contacting us first. PayPal also asks for a photo and description as part of that process, so it works in much the same way, though we’d encourage you to contact us directly first as it’s usually quicker.

5. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy affects your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, including your right to a repair, replacement, price reduction, or refund if goods are faulty, of a wrong description, or not fit for purpose.
