Welding Gloves

full glove made of split leather welted seams stitched with kevlar thread shirred stitched across knuckles extra protection with thumb knuckles

Split leather throughout - The whole glove, hand and gauntlet, is split leather. A heavier build than a TIG glove, made for MIG, MMA and general fabrication.

Welted seams - Welted seams tuck the stitching in behind leather rather than leaving it exposed on the outside of the glove.

Kevlar thread stitching - Stitched with Kevlar thread. Seams are usually the weak point on a welding glove, so this keeps the panels together longer.

14 inch gauntlet - Listed at 14 inch long. The gauntlet runs up the forearm and closes the gap between glove and jacket sleeve.

ANATOMY

Six features that actually matter.

Every spec on our product is designed to help you choose the right product. No marketing fluff, no over-engineering you don’t need.

1

Split leather throughout

The whole glove, hand and gauntlet, is split leather. A heavier build than a TIG glove, made for MIG, MMA and general fabrication.

2

Welted seams

Welted seams tuck the stitching in behind leather rather than leaving it exposed on the outside of the glove.

3

Kevlar thread stitching

Stitched with Kevlar thread. Seams are usually the weak point on a welding glove, so this keeps the panels together longer.

4

14 inch gauntlet

Listed at 14 inch long. The gauntlet runs up the forearm and closes the gap between glove and jacket sleeve.

5

Shirred stitching across the knuckles

Shirred stitching across the knuckles lets the hand close without the leather bunching, so the glove still grips a torch or hammer.

6

Extra thumb and knuckle protection

The supplier lists extra material at the thumb and knuckles – the areas that take the most contact against the work and the bench.

THE RANGE

Three tiers.

Pick the right one.

We don’t believe in over-spec’ing. If you mostly work indoors, save the £35. If you’re in groundworks year-round, the S3 is the floor — not the ceiling.

They are listed as 14 inch long. That is the overall length of the glove and gauntlet rather than a hand size such as M or XL.
Heavier work: MIG, MMA, fabrication and general metalwork, plus foundry and yard handling. For TIG, the goat leather version gives more feel in the fingers.
The markings recorded for this glove are EN 388, EN 407 and CE. That is all we quote – we do not attach figures or add standards the supplier has not stated.
Send us a photo of the fault. The supplier credits it from the photo alone, so there is nothing to package up and post back.
