Fly-knitted upper - A knitted fabric upper instead of leather. Open enough to let heat out, which is the point of it on a warm shift indoors.

Steel toecap - Steel toe cap under the knit. The shoe looks like a trainer but the front end is built for impact protection.

Kevlar midsole - Kevlar puncture layer under the footbed. It flexes with the sole rather than plating it, so the shoe still bends where your foot does.

Rubber outsole - Rubber outsole with a lugged tread. Grippier underfoot than a smooth trainer sole and easy to brush clean at the end of the day.

UK 3-17 (EU 36-52) – one of the broadest ranges we stock. If you are between sizes, or wear a thicker sock, go up rather than down.
That is what the fly-knitted upper is for. It is a knitted fabric rather than leather, so it vents better on warm shifts in a plant or warehouse.
The upper is fly-knitted fabric on a rubber sole. It is a breathable shoe, not a wet-weather one – we make no waterproofing claim for it.
Send us a photo of the fault. That is all the manufacturer needs to credit it, so we can arrange a replacement or refund without you posting anything back.
